Bodybuilding Lifestyle

Bodybuilding is my biggest passion in life. What makes a person a
bodybuilder is actually the lifestyle they lead. It’s someone that
specializes in muscular development to obtain a high level of muscle size
and strength. However, it’s not being all end all. There’s much more to
leading this lifestyle than just working out and drinking protein shakes.
In my life, bodybuilding has become outlet for my creativity and desire to
help others achieve a healthier lifestyle through muscular development
and fitness.

It has helped me stay positive, reach my goals and shatter the face of
fear. Through this lifestyle, I have been able to successfully meet multiple
milestones through my past and continue to feel confident to meet any
future ones.

Each training workout is a stepping stone and from an early age, it has
taught me patience, determination and goal setting. it mentally teaches
you how to change. We all know what change can bring. It makes you
believe in yourself and that you can accomplish anything. I now practice
Reiki and integrate it into my lifestyle. It’s a perfect fit.

As individuals, society defines us by what we project that is tangible. But
you know that we are much more that just tangible.
I don’t define myself as a bodybuilder, but as someone that wants
everything life and spirituality has to offer. I offer you the same. The past
cannot be changed, however you can learn from your past experiences.
The future cannot be fortold, however you can create the moment and
strongly create your own future.

Challenge Yourself

I’m here to teach you and help you learn how to change your habits, so that you can meet your physique goals.. Women, you want that figure body with the perfect X frame, lots of tone and shape? Men, you want that UFC fighter look or maybe you want to look like Phil Heath, Mr. Olympia? Do you know any kind of change needs a challenge. The smaller the challenge, the smaller the change.  When we think small, it’s one dimensional. As a coach, I teach my clients to think in three realms.  Body, Mind and Emotions.  You need to believe you can do something and you will. You need to push safely beyond the pain and the body compensates to adapt. You need to dig deep into your emotions and cut the bullshit and find out what the hell you want from life. It’s your life, DON’T WASTE IT AWAY. Sure, there’s plenty of time, tomorrow.. right?  Tomorrow is another day down the drain, when you don’t act on your thoughts and intentions.  Tomorrow is another excuse.

Challenge Yourself Now… You want the body ? Your gonna need to work for it. Just like money, you need to work for it. Just like friendship, you need to work for it. Just like love, you need to work for it….. and no, don’t kid yourself.  You get out, what you put in. Making friends is easy? Staying in love and loving one another is easy? Work is easy?  That’s great!! It’s easy, because you’ve made it a habit which has become part of you. You live it, breath it and it comes naturally because after many years, these things integrate with your time and space, thoughts and actions.

Working out, building muscle, getting leaner, following your nutrition plan.. that’s gonna be all new or somewhat new to those other things like career, love, friendship etc…  Do you give up easily on those things?  No.  A winner will strive to be better. A winner will strive to improve not only themselves, but their environment. A winner will continually challenge themselves every day.  When you challenge yourself, you break away from what you were, the outcome changes.   Things will change.  So, challenge yourself to go in the direction and lead with your body, mind and emotions.

What do you do when cardio and diet, don’t give you any results?

If you been doing cardio and dieting for 3-4 weeks and don’t see any results, it’s time for an assessment of your nutrition and exercise program. Let a professional who specializes in your goals, make that assessment for you and create a plan to help you step one foot after another and balance your way to success.  It is a fine a balance because of the paradox of  the same things that can make you lose weight are the same things that can put on weight.  Too much cardio, can make you lose muscle and slow your metabolism.

The people in the gym that weight train consistently, normally have less body fat, then people who do just do aerobics or cycling or cardio machines.

Certain hormones can build up in your system (these are catabolic) hormones, and breakdown muscle tissue and cause more inflammation. Too little calories can put your body in a starvation mode, which causes the same thing as catabolic hormones. Your  hypothalamus gland found in your brain, which is the most protected gland in your body, controls these hormones. If your stuck in a plateau, get assessed.  It just like when your car all of a sudden, can’t go over 10 mph, what do you do? You take it to a mechanic and get it checked.

Don’t think you can solve the problem yourself unless you already have that experience to solve the problem. Even if you do, it’s always good to get a second opinion. The longer you wait, the less priority you put on yourself. This problem is not separate from you. It’s your body, it’s you. Treat yourself with a little selfishness and utmost respect.
