This is where I come in. My name is Rob Lagana, and I’m a fitness coach
and accomplished competitive bodybuilder with over two decades of
experience. I can help you turn your fitness and wellness goals into reality.
Results-driven and compassionate, I provide each client with a personalized experience and specially tailored workout routines and meal plans.

I know what it means to have personal challenges. I was born with ocular albinism (a condition that leaves me legally blind for life) and growing up had its share of hardship. However, that didn’t stop me from achieving my dream of becoming a successful competitive bodybuilder. Ultimately, it inspired me to help others achieve happiness, confidence, and overall wellness in their own lives.

In addition to training consistently and assisting my valued clients, I will help you with nutrition by writing you a complete nutrition protocol using my tried-and-true tips and tricks to fat loss and toning up by harnessing a balanced approach to healthy eating.  With a nutrition AND exercise regimen that is uniquely tailored to you and your needs, anything is possible! I believe in fitness being fun; I’ve never been an all-work, no-play kind of guy.  By adding  positivity, empowerment, support, and a holistic approach to the mix,  you’re well on your way to paving the road to longevity.

Here are some of my insights and tactics that we apply when you hire me as an online fitness coach. Remember, my wisdom becomes your wisdom 🙂 

  1. Progress in strength alone is never linear. We enforce good form over amount of weights used every time. Ego is left at the door.
  2. When an exercise is too hard due to equipment or ability, I will always know when to use regressions during your workout. Some times the basics work much better than advanced exercises.
  3. My background in bodybuilding competitions imply that results are crucial to success. So, I do not obsess about functional movement training and provide a balance of exercises, nutrition, good sleep habits, stress reduction management  and practices to deliver maximum results.
  4. We do not just use machines in your training regime. We use all sorts of equipment, free weights, cables, bodyweight etc.. to deliver maximum results.
  5. I don’t pretend to know the answer to every question.  As a great coach,  I am aware of the limitations and gaps in knowledge, and I am not afraid to hit the books and research in order to improve our understanding of a particular topic.
  6. In diagnosis of pain or injury, I point you in the right direction for further study, and refer you to experts in those fields when necessary. I work with RMTs, Chiropractors and  M.Ds in different specialties to help you.
  7. The right nutrition plan for you, goes hand in hand with your training. Not only will I coach you in the gym, but coach you as well on proper balanced nutrition to meet your goals.
